Guillemette orders you to put your weapons down. She knows who you are and will find out more when she interrogates you. Sam is certain that Van Ark is really the one in charge. Bakari mentions Operation Pinafore to Janine before Guillemette tells him to step away. Bakari tenders his resignation and initiates a programme that issues a sonic pulse. Bakari gets you to your feet and says that you need to get out before the soldiers recover. The panacea in your blood is vital!

You're clear of the main complex, but still on base grounds with a lot of angry soldiers after you. Bakari directs you through a field of solar panels; they're too valuable for the soldiers to risk firing on. Bakari explains that he's been there a long time and had programmed an escape contingency plan, although your chances are still slim. Guillemette moves the solar panels to face you and dazzle you, while the soldiers have protective goggles. Sam and Peter use smoke grenades they took from the armoury to blind the soldiers and give you a chance to escape.

You head towards an open gate, but it begins to close. Janine tells Sam and Maryam to get out since they're ahead. It closes, leaving the rest of you still trapped inside! Bakari reminds them that they still have trackers under their skin. They need to get far away before Guillemette brings the systems back online. Bakari's leg wound is causing him trouble, but he thinks he knows another path. Quick, towards that greenhouse!

You make it to the greenhouse and encounter Ernie again. He says that Guillemette told him that you're spies. Janine still believes that he's the boss of the whole operation. Bakari tells him that you'll shoot if he tries to call security and begins to open a floor panel. Ernie calls Guillemette anyway, giving away your location. Peter tries to shoot him, but he ducks out of sight. You head through the floor hatch – the soldiers will be here soon. Run!

You've reached the door, but it's tightly shut. Guillemette must have started getting systems back online. You pry open the wall panel so Bakari can override it. Guillemette speaks to you through a tannoy – you can surrender or suffer. Bakari realises that Guillemette has managed to reboot the floor panelling in this area. It can pass a massive electrical current through it once it charges up. If you're lucky it will kill you. If you're unlucky, Guillemette has set it to stun so she can interrogate you. Bakari manages to get the door open, but the floor beyond is metal. You'll need to hurry to the stone floor beyond to avoid it.

You're past the electrified floor and you hear the door behind you close. You're in caves beneath the base, where they used to grow the red fungus. The soldiers won't follow you here. The doors and the electrified floor aren't to keep people inside the base... they're to keep the things in the caves out.
