Warrior Training

Rūna still hasn't returned, so Thor and Loki will handle your training again. Freyja has also left the palace. You'll go to the training grounds, and Loki will find something to amuse himself with.

The streets are eerily empty. Thor reminisces about some of the trouble Loki has gotten into in the past. You're close to the training grounds now, where Thor can show off.

You enter the training grounds, and Thor compares your training to the earliest stages of Asgardian warrior training. Rūna must think highly of you! Loki suggests you walk behind the archery range to where some of the warriors are taking a break.

Thor and Loki chat with the warriors, who seem rather interested in the brothers. Loki leaves, saying he'll fetch some water to help the warriors cool down.

Your walk is over and Loki has not returned. Your run–walk drills begin now. Walk for a minute, then run for 15 seconds, while Thor shows you the Asgardian training methods!

This training ground may look ordinary, but...

Run, or be smashed into jam! Then walk to the second obstacle.

Walk to the next obstacle. It's perfectly safe. Honest.

Run or the ant-lions will trap and eat you!

The ant-lions like eating dwarves. Wasn't that fun?

Prepare yourself.

The trees want to rip you apart! Run!

Loki is responsible for the trees!

Things are getting warmer!

The fires of Muspelheim lick at your heels! Now walk to the next obstacle.

The next obstacle will represent Svartalfheim.

That's the same howling from your first training run! Run for your life.

Halfway done. Is something bothering you?

Vanaheim is next. Things might get dark.

Run from the shadow nixes! And don't tell Loki that Thor said his illusions were clever.

This next section is new!

Run from the angels! Now walk toward the eight obstacle.

You might recognize this next obstacle! It represents your own realm, Mortal.

Quick – catch that bus! Then walk toward the ninth obstacle.

Only two realms left!

Run over the field of the dead! Now walk to the final obstacle.

The final obstacle is... the Asgardian archery range!

You avoid being shot or hit by an ax! 10 minutes of free running next. Loki finally arrives and is shocked that Thor put you through that. Well done for staying alive! He thinks you should get away from the palace. Maybe ice cream?

Loki sends Thor to check for an ice cream shop, and uses the distraction to show you something he acquired from Odin's vault. It's a bag of teeth. Thor returns and hurls them away in disgust. Loki suggests you walk away quickly.

You hear screaming. Loki explains that the dragon teeth Thor threw turn into soldiers when they hit the ground. Draw their ire and you can lead them away from the city.

You've reached the shore, but you need to keep the teeth-soldiers distracted while Loki figures out what to do. Thor tries smashing them but they reanimate.

Loki uses the mirror to suck the teeth-soldiers into a portal. Unfortunately, it's stronger than expected, and begins to pull you in as well. You're dragged through and left floating across Yggdrasil's branches. You might as well relax! It's a long way.
