Thor & Loki’s 5K Training

Become a runner at the side of Thor and Loki, and save the Ten Realms while you're at it! This expert-designed plan is 8 weeks long with 3 workouts per week, ending in a 5K race.

Week 1

Accompany Rūna to Asgard, and train with Thor and Loki - just try to stay out of trouble!

The Ratatoskr Running Club
Welcome to the Ratatoskr Running Club, where you'll train for the Dragonfang 5K! Don't worry about the dark clouds on the horizon. Everything is under control.

Loki needs your help to steal a powerful treasure that only mortals can reach. Don't worry – there's absolutely no chance you could get caught!

Week 2

Travel Valheim in search of a way back to Asgard – but will Thor and Loki's past be a help or a hindrance?

A missing mirror shard is within your grasp, but Loki's past may be catching up with you!

A Little Glamor
With the shard in your possession, all you must do is leave Alfheim – but that might be easier said than done.

Week 3

With the Bifrost out of action, the mirror seems like your only hope of making it home. Will Nidavellir be the place to restore it? Or have you already managed to make enemies there?

Escape from the dimensional snarl lands you in a new realm with new dangers. A clan of Dwarves is on your trail, and they have a score to settle.

The Thane's Demands
Mirror repairs don't come cheap, and the Dwarves have plenty of work for you to do.

The Caverns of Skornheim
The hunt for a vital material to repair the mirror leads you to the caverns of Skornheim, but the route is treacherous.

Week 4

With shifting ley lines blocking your way home, the Vanir and their magic may be your only hope. But something dark is massing and even the Great Light may not be enough to protect you.

With the mirror repaired, you're ready to leave Nidavellir, but perhaps that bad luck is catching up with you!

Scrying
The Vanir's scrying mirror could shed some light on your problems, but activating it is far from easy.

The Tower of Great Light
With the help of the Vanir, tracking the ley lines should be easy, but greater plans are afoot, and the Shadow Nixes are on your trail.

Week 5

Finding the source of the magical shift is next on the agenda, but that might be easier said than done when you enter the realm of one of Asgard's great enemies – Jotunheim.

With Vanaheim safe, you continue your journey, but there are worse threats than snow in Jotunheim.

Trickery and Subterfuge
Entering the palace of the Jotun is no easy feat. Luckily you have a trickster god with you determined to do just that.

The situation in Jotunheim may be more precarious than you knew – an ally brings news of a corrupted king, and old enmities being fuelled anew.

Week 6

With the source of the ley line disturbance in hand, your next task is to destroy it. But with enemies on your trail, you might have bitten off more than you can chew.

Week 8

Cast into the land of the dead, with Yggdrasil itself beginning to crumble, you'll have to put your training to good use if you want to save the realms!
