Lingering in the void between worlds for too long would have the unfortunate side effect of unravelling your soul, so you want to walk quickly to get to Muspelheim. Maybe the spindle from the Realm of Frost will respond to the Realm of Fire.

The spindle is incredibly powerful and Loki considers what it could accomplish. Sadly, Thor is thinking responsibly.

You've been dumped in front of a lava flow – get running! Welcome to Muspelheim, the home to Surtur the Fire Giant. Thankfully, Lady Idunn's bracers are protecting you.

Loki is not fond of the heat, but your only option is to keep moving.

You hear the monsters that attacked you on Midgard. This isn't coincidence. They're hunting you, but hopefully Loki can hide you.

The monsters are catching up, and they counterspell Loki. They know who you are and how you fight. Run!

Ready yourself for battle with half squats.

Stretch out as you prepare.

A monster vomits a toxic constriction spell onto you. Your movements disrupt the spell, thankfully.

You're almost out of the cloud!

The monsters are dead but there will be more. Loki and Thor theorize about why they attacked you. The spindle must be destroyed.

Thor tries to destroy the spindle with Mjolnir, but it throws him back.

Loki wants to try to destroy the spindle in a volcano, even if it isn't his preferred method.

You're being watched, which Loki insists is might be a good thing.

Loki is going to use your movement to weaken the spindle. Hopefully it will be enough to let you destroy it.

Loki charts a path up the volcano for you. It isn't the most efficient route, but it should drain most of the spindle's energy.

Thor sees a portal open – like the ones in Vanaheim and Midgard – and monsters begin to pour through.

Loki needs you to stop briefly while he prepares a spell, even if the monsters are gaining on you.

Loki gives you the spindle while he takes an illusory copy in another direction as a distraction.

Loki is attacked and loses control of the spell that shows your path. Thor attacks the monsters with Mjolnir and gives Loki time to get running again.

You reach the top and throw the spindle in. Loki is knocked into the volcano but Thor rescues him. He says the blast from the spindle will interfere with the monsters' tracking abilities, but you still need to be on your guard.
