New Blood

You meet up with Doctor Faiza Hussain, a new recruit working for New Blood who is accompanying you on your delivery. She's here to make sure you don't keel over in the heat of London. Get running!

Faiza asks you about New Blood and what you think the super-rich clients are actually doing with the blood. Drinking it? Private transfusions? Face mask? At least you're heading away from the tourist traps. You encounter a couple of odd people, and Faiza tells you to run and ignore any weird sounds.

You're confronted by the people you were running from, and Faiza pulls a sword from her bag and says she'll hold them off while you run.

You're trapped, but in the midst of their taunting, your pursuers become scared and say something about 'the Daywalker'. One of them screams as it is stabbed and turns to dust. The man who had stabbed them tells you to run.

You reunite with Faiza who confesses that she is the hero Excalibur. She is a doctor but she's working with British Intelligence to investigate New Blood after the disappearance of at least eight couriers. The man who had saved you arrives and tells you to stop investigating – he won't protect you forever.

Faiza ia unimpressed by the person who'd helped you. She says she's pretty new to the hero stuff, but she thinks you were chased by vampires. She's going to check in with the people at MI:13. She says the people there could make you forget what happened tonight and set you up somewhere else, but maybe you could also help figure out what's going on here.
