Ascendency

You arrive at the deconsecrated church where the others are planning their incursion. Blade is unhappy, but Brielle says it's too late to send you away now. Just make sure you aren't caught up in the slaughter. A vampire appears and says that their master would like to meet with you all. Reluctantly, you follow.

You're led into a grand room where you meet the leader of the vampires – Dracula. He claims he isn't a threat to you while you are a guest and says he can give you information. He seems disgusted by the New Blood situation. He'll play a game with you and might be persuaded to give you information...if you survive.

Brielle says she's going to save the humans and runs off. Dracula threatens you, and plans to find her first, and draws the attention of all the vampires to Blade. He says he can handle them, but he needs you and Faiza to keep Brielle safe. Run!

You try to come up with a plan as Dracula approaches Brielle...and gets thoroughly insulted for his efforts. Faiza confronts the vampire and draws Excalibur. Her power combines with the sword's, and drives your enemies away for now.

You've made it to Dracula's study where he meets you. You are finally alone. You have done a fine job of luring the Daywalker here, and you will be rewarded with your ascendency. He bites you and turns you into a vampire – a spell he has cast will suppress your transformation so you can remain undetected by Blade and Brielle. Return to them and make Dracula proud.

You reunited with the others. It's sunrise and time to leave. Faiza and Brielle argue about the right course of action, and Blade is concerned about some of the guests he recognised. But for now, you need to rest and regroup.
