The Gingerbread Children

Pendragon tells you to relax and go deeper into the forest. You encounter two gingerbread children as they approach a gingerbread cottage. The children vanish and you hear a scream from the cottage. Will you enter the strange place to save them?

In the cottage, you find the gingerbread boy in a cage, and the girl chained and sweeping the floor, imprisoned by a witch. Pendragon gloats about finding you as their vessel, and bringing them two powerful magic users. Pendragon tells Wanda to push you into the oven and burn away the chains binding it. You are the 'witch' after all.

You use a magic blast to knock Wanda back, and do the same to Dr. Strange when Pendragon makes him attack you. Pendragon manifests, but Dr. Strange reverts to his true form. Dr. Strange blasts Pendragon into the oven, but Wanda is still under its power. Dr. Strange tries to free her, but the spell fails. You're interrupted by someone new.

Agatha Harkness is unimpressed with Dr. Strange and having to fix his mistakes. His incantation is one of hers that was stolen. She frees Wanda, and agrees to help you against the Dream Eater.

Agatha tells Dr. Strange to try a different perspective. Maybe the story is really about an old woman and children suffering a time of famine caused by the rich. The Dream Eater is starving! The cottage is filling with magic and Wanda tries to warn Agatha and Dr. Strange, but they are engrossed. head outside with her before something bad happens?

Wanda says Agatha and Dr. Strange's arguing is feeding the magic and creating a storm. The storm explodes the cottage, but they're both safe thanks to Dr. Strange's spell. Agatha and Dr. Strange (reluctantly) apologise, but it seems the Dream Eater is back to being a dragon.

The forest is on fire, and you're being funnelled towards a portal. Agatha is unable to come with you, but she says goodbye and warns Dr. Strange that it's time for him to take responsibility for the situation. You see a black horse and rider which seems familiar somehow. The dreamscape is collapsing, so through the portal it is!
