Monarch of the Crows: 5K

You need to reach the Slaughterstone before the hunters catch you. If you manage it, you'll become Monarch of the Crows. Fail, and your blood will nourish the land. Run!

Ernie has read about this ritual and how it serves the old gods. Unfortunately the villagers have begun hunting you and they're armed.

Ernie seems to be almost enjoying himself, and he's sure you can win if you're fast.

The walkie-talkie plays the voice of that woman again. The villagers are in the woods but if you can move that hay cart you can block the bridge and delay your followers.

You send the cart crashing into the villagers, but you activate a tripwire and become caught in a net! You cut yourself free but you're still being hunted... and this time they don't seem to be human.

The scarecrows are more than just costumed villagers – they smell of rot and when one grabs you, its arms rip off. There's a corpse in there!

Ernie seems to know a lot about this ritual, and Sam realises that he knew about this before you came out. He came here on purpose! When Five is crowned Monarch of the Crows, the power of the ley lines will be yours to command! But you need to reach the Slaughterstone.

You run into the woods on the prompting of the Lady. The villagers do not follow you. The Lady says if you take her as your bride, the hunt will end. You realise that the trees have screaming faces – her previous victims. You keep running.

Ernie has no remorse about doing this. You could use this power to change your fates forever! The hunters are closing in, and Ernie takes the mask and crown to distract them. Only you need to reach the stone, and Ernie will become Monarch of the Crows

The scarecrows are catching up again, and the trees are closing in. You'll have to step off the path! Don't look back!

The trees are attempting to devour you. You manage to break free. You're so close!

You reach the Slaughterstone and the hunters stop chasing you. You can see the pub through gateway in the stone and everything begins to fade. Ernie accepts the crown of the Monarch of the Crows from Phil and you can only watch as he is sewn into one of those scarecrow suits and melds with it.
