Training Mission 1

There's something weird happening around Abel, and it reminds Maxine of the time you and her investigated a voice, pleading for help, inside an old house...

Inside it looks like the house has been abandoned for ages. Sam can't hear it, but the voice is still calling, so you head to the fourth floor where Maxine saw a light in the window.

You're in the home of famous Youtube spiritualist, Lady Eliza Barncote. According to Sam, she used to talk about 'special children', and some are here, in the form of zombies with glowing eyes!

Barricaded inside a study, Maxine looks through some books. Taking a half-torn copy of "The Prince in Puce" opens a secret passage, which you use once the zoms break through.

The zombies keep pace, but never catch up, as you keep heading towards the now very loud voice, which Sam still can't hear. Maxine wants to keep going.

The voice came from Lady Barncote, who’s on life support, runes carved into her skin. Maxine unplugs the machine to free the voice, before realising Barncote had trapped an evil spirit inside herself. You’ll have to burn the house down to destroy it!

You and Maxine escaped the house, which burned with green flames, but never did find out what the thing was. Back in the present, Maxine finds nothing out of the ordinary on your current mission.
