An Undoing World

You're out with Sam and Janine to take a look at the tower Valmont is building north of Abel. It was mentioned in the plans you stole when you broke in.

The tower is bigger than it should have been possible to build in the time Valmont has had, even with a huge workforce. You see strange gunk rolling out of outlets on the tower, as well as train tracks. Janine thinks the trains may give you more information.

The first train is full of bags of fertiliser, and the second train is full of... zombies!

Why is Valmont bringing zombies into his arcology? You hop over a stream of the gunk to escape and the gunk seems to slow the zombies down. As you watch, they begin to melt into each other. It reminds you of the towers in Venice! Unlike Venice however, this zomglomerate can still chase you!

The zomglomerate is keeping pace with you. You see a train moving in and its full of people who'll be sitting targets for the zom, which seems to be attracted to the sound of the train horn.

Shooting it doesn't seem to work, and the people on the train seem oblivious. You shoot at the power lines and drop them onto the zombies. The train manages to get away, but the zombie has not been stopped. It's still coming after you. The only way out is towards the tower.

The zombie vanishes suddenly, only to burst out of the ground ahead of you. The tower shoots at the zombie, vaporising it, but you're in the firing line as well. Run!

Janine doesn't think the green type zombie was intentional, which means Valmont doesn't understand what he's doing. Which means it will end badly for him, and for the rest of the world. Janine wants you to take samples. Amelia contacts you, but it's bad news; ANNIE has worked out the formula for the cure, but she has no way to synthesise it, let alone manufacture it at scale. Maybe you need to talk about getting to safety.
