Scream

You're nearly at the rendezvous point to meet Amelia's contact, Mohammed Boujettif. Peter thinks it's suspicious that he wants to meet you outside the city, but Frances points out that New Agadir is extremely difficult to get into if you aren't a citizen. You need friends who can vouch for you with the government and with the organised crime groups that have power there. Peter says he feels like things are going too well. You continue heading through the desert towards your meeting spot.

The desert is beautiful, but lacking in landmarks. Janine pauses to admire the stars and hopes that she can see a shooting star. You hear a scream, which Janine says is a hyena. You need to hurry up before the pack arrives.

You reach the coordinates, but your contact is nowhere to be seen. You'll have to find another way into New Agadir. You hear another scream and realise that isn't a hyena. It must be your contact. He needs your help!

You follow the screams, but they stop suddenly, only to begin in a different direction. As you search for the source, Frances trips over something and you realise the scream is coming from beneath the sand. You start digging in case it's your contact, only to discover that the screaming is coming from a very decayed zombie. Run!

It's difficult to keep running when it's so dark but you need to keep moving. You don't know if your cure will be effective against this type of zombie. You end up surrounded, but Janine finds a gap in the circle of undead. Keep running!

You make it past the zombies and into a ravine. Janine thinks the screaming zombies hunt using echolocation and the ravine walls will confuse them. The zombies have entered the ravine and the screams bounce off the walls eerily, but they will stumble on you eventually if you don't keep moving.

You seem to be losing the zombies, but nearly run into a large, deep hole. While you quickly check it out, the zombies get closer. You shoot at them, but in the dark you quickly run out of ammo. Just as things look bleak, the zoms are taken out by someone with a rifle. He introduces himself as your contact and apologises. He had to flee the zombies himself and is currently persona non grata in New Agadir. You'll need to help clear his name in order to get inside. But he's willing to help with the situation to save his country.
