Extinction

You're out on a run with Zoe who hopes you're alright being called Five rather than 'Canton Five'. She got a tip off from Valmont over the radio about a shipping contained full of rare animals, and she intends to rescue them! Valmont said he'd get someone to meet you at the beach. Zoe hopes its Jody, who has been busy now she's in charge of Abel.

You reach the beach and see your contact who introduces herself as Slava. She seems glad to meet the First Lady of the UK, although Valmont was less complimentary. The shipping crate is over there!

Zoe spots a couple of birds on the beach but... are they dodos? Dodos which seem a bit more aggressive and dangerous than history would have you believe. You have to run, and maybe you can just let them chase you back to New Canton? To make things worse, there are zombies after you. The caves up ahead should bring you out between Abel and New Canton. Run!

Weren't dodos supposed to be slow and docile? They're still chasing you. Slava spots a wide and deep pothole ahead and suggests a McShell. You go right, and she'll meet you at the exit.

The way out of the caves is blocked by a large rock, which is strange since Phil was down here the other day and never mentioned this. And to make matters worse, some of the zoms have escaped. And the water is rising. It must be high tide!

The water is still climbing, and Zoe apologises for bringing you here. She calls Amelia on the radio and they have a heartfelt (for them) conversation. At least Amelia orders a team to go find you and bring extra oxygen tanks. Amelia is furious when she finds out Valmont gave Zoe the tipoff. Keep treading water and prepare to have words with Amelia when you are safe.

The scuba team are 12 minutes out, but you're already struggling for air. Amelia blames herself for making Zoe a target. There's an explosion nearby, and you hear Slava call. The water is draining, but you need to get out fast before it refills.

Slava meets you with a jeep and the dodos! She says she got turned around in the tunnels and her mic got knocked against the cave wall. She was surprised to hear how much Amelia cares about you. Zoe brushes it off, and Slava says that she thinks she and Zoe should be friends. But for now, back to New Canton.
