Amelia has you hiding so you can trail Slava when she makes her escape attempt. She seems to be heading east, not north towards the Arcology as Amelia expected. This may be a terrible plan, but Amelia is counting on you.

Slava has led you to the middle of nowhere. Amelia promises that she didn't know about Brent's 'academies' and she supposes that Slava is a victim, but still, don't hesitate to shoot if you need to. There are a lot of zombies here so try avoiding them.

Slava attacks you – she's acquired a headset from a stash she had hidden, and she knows that Amelia let her escape on purpose. There are zoms on the way, but if either of you shoots at them, you'd be at the mercy of the other. You should get away so you can settle disagreements.

Slava leads you to oak Weald Royal Observatory. Amelia says that Slava is only alive because she didn't kill Zoe. Slava says Valmont had told her that Amelia was persuasive and talked about her all the time. Amelia replies that he never mentioned Slava at all. Slava says there's something in the observatory that can help.

The observatory won't keep the zoms out for long, but Slava likes the interior. Amelia warns you to keep your eyes out for traps. She says that Slava is cleverer than Valmont. Slava disagrees but Amelia says that everything he shows to people is just a projection, a con. He has stolen everything he has, and then, when it turned out to be work, he stole tech to create ANNIE to run it for him. His plague is based on stolen research. But he also throws things away for a single flaw. Slava would have assassinated an operative with vital information who fell into enemy hands. But Valmont isn't that smart.

Slava activates the planetarium which distracts the zombies. Slava says she didn't make friends at the academy, but the constellations were always there. Time to climb the tower and see what you came for.

Slava knows that Amelia is going to kill her so she wanted to use the telescope before then. She shows you a binary star. Amelia tells Slava that Valmont made a mistake in failing to appreciate her value. She should make him regret it. Why does Valmont's talk about 'looking out for number one' apply to him, but not to Slava? Slava agrees to tell you how to get into his arcology, but she wants to be freed, and Amelia will owe her.
