The Man Who Has Everything

Zoe thanks you and Sam for going after Amelia. Valmont must have snuck into New Canton while New Canton's troops were helping Abel, but Zoe had given Amelia a gift of a necklace... with an emergency radio beacon in it.

You're at Brackenridge, a stately home, and Zoe's signal vanishes – Valmont must be blocking it. You can pick up Amelia's signal though, and hear her and Valmont talking. Valmont insists that no-one is coming to rescue her, and you need to prove him wrong.

Valmont goes on and on about being an amazing puppetmaster, manipulating everyone, but you've beaten every single one of them, so he can't be that good either. You enter the house and spot some of the monster dogs. They're still under his control, but Sam notices that they seem to have been mistreated.

You hear Valmont again as he tries to persuade Amelia to go with him. She tells him she'd rather be dead than his. An arrow appears on a screen, and Sam realises that it must be ANNIE. Go left!

Another arrow to follow, and the fire sprinklers turn on, which drives the dogs away briefly. You arrive in the hangar where Valmont's jet is. You'll need to sneak through and... you're out of time. Run!

Amelia has spotted you, but she's not showing it, and is keeping Valmont distracted. You jump him and Amelia gets hold of his gun. She wants to shoot him, but Sam points out that would always make her the star of his story. She tells you to take him away, but the hellhounds break into the hangar and rip him apart. Unfortunately, his death has triggered the building to collapse. Get out of there!

The house has collapsed, and the anti-Green Type tone has killed the fungus in the dogs too – they seem quite friendly now. Zoe is able to contact you again and is relieved that Valmont is gone. And something even more urgent has come up – Amelia has to clean up her country and finally have her wedding!
