You enter the Hydra base which seems to be abandoned. Black Widow wants you to stick together and be ready to move as soon as you find the Quinjet.

The base is enormous and it's troubling that Hydra left so much behind. The Quinjet needs some repairs before it will fly, and you'll need power to open the hangar doors. Doom and Cap should stay to fix the jet, while you help Black Widow to turn on the power.

The Play

The right place.

The central control room is as abandoned as everything else. You switch on the generator and Black Widow asks you to put a data stick into the mainframe to scrape everything in it. As you prepare to leave, the base announces security measures being initiated – armed robotic sentries, and you need to help lead them away from the hangar!

You bottleneck the sentries and Black Widow takes a couple of them out before they retreat. Unfortunately it seems that there's another wave of security. You need to find a way around them to get back to the jet!

The second security phase is a lockdown and you're trapped. Cap arrives to take out some of the sentries and make you a path to the hangar. The third phase of security is announced...and it sounds like a self-destruct. Run!

You get into the Quinjet, but it's going to be a difficult takeoff – the mountain is collapsing! You make it out and you should be in Doomstadt in an hour. Doom is deteriorating quickly, so remember what happens if he doesn't make it.

You've survived, but you need to keep moving. Doom guesses that you're in Romania, and Black Widow says there's a radio tower to the northwest.  You need to make the most of your head start.

Draxon is concerned that Doom is struggling. Black Widow will go ahead to the radio tower, while the rest of you scout for an extraction point. Black Widow contacts Cap saying she dropped her transmitter, and Cap sends you to take it to her.

Black Widow says she's got a signal for a S.H.I.E.L.D. Quinjet, but she isn't certain if it's crashed, or if its in a hidden S.H.I.E.L.D. outpost. A helicopter passes over head – it must be Taskmaster and he's jamming your comms. Get back to warn the others!

You reach the others just in time, but Taskmaster is determined to flush you out. Cap has a better idea – his shield takes out the rotors of the helicopter. Run!

Taskmaster has tracked you down – the helicopter was remote controlled! He grabs Draxon and  gets away using a jetpack. Black Widow contacts you saying she needs your help. Hurry!

You reach Black Widow and she shows you a steel door set into the side of the mountain. Doom thinks it must be S.H.I.E.L.D. but Black Widow affixes a device that opens the door – it's a Hydra facility!

We may have survived so far, but Draxon has been captured, and our only way out is a Hydra base!

Out of the frying pan, but you're still at risk from the fire! You need a quick escape or Taskmaster will be happy to heat things up.

You're at the landing strip, waiting for your plane to Latveria to finish refuelling. Black Widow is worried that this doesn't feel like Taskmaster's MO. She has a realisation, just before the plane is blown up. Get into the train station!

You're trapped in the train station, and Taskmaster is on your trail. Your only way out is to grab the train while Cap and Doom draw Taskmaster's attention.

The train is in working order, but the track is routed to the rail yard and the switch can't be activated from the train. You need to go and hit it or you aren't going anywhere!

Black Widow guides you to the switch, but you're spotted by Taskmaster. Doom and Cap cover you and you get back to the train, although Doom requires a little persuasion.

You make it onto the train as it leaves the station. Doom collapses and Black Widow says the S.H.I.E.L.D. analysts thinks whatever Taskmaster did is turning Doom's armour against him. You help get him to the front where Black Widow has something that might help him... temporarily.

Black Widow persuades Doom to accept the experimental field stims which should help with the pain. Which is good because you need to get off the train. She thinks Taskmaster planned for you to get on the train so he's probably planned to blow the tracks nearby. As if on cue, you hear a helicopter. Doom provides a forcefield to protect you as you jump from the moving train.

So speaks Doom.

Escaped Ruritania but Taskmaster is hot on our heels, and our transport plans have been derailed...

With the summit scuppered, the best you can hope for is keeping the delegates alive. But getting them out isn't going to be an easy task.

Mojo is commentating on the action as you attempt to cross the mine-field. He's planned a deathtrap maze for you and you'd better entertain the audience!

You have nowhere else to go except into the building, and make it up in the elevator. Mojo doesn't sound happy and sends in a demolition crew. You race down the stairs to hopefully escape the collapsing building!

Mojo has money on you dying in the skyscraper, but Dogpool has an idea! She grabs a hose and you wrap yourselves in it, then jump down the stairwell to reach the lobby. Mojo sends Spiral after you to spice things up.

Spiral attacks and you are defended by Dogpool wielding a steel sign. Spiral tries to persuade Dogpool to abandon you but to no avail. You're saved by Longshot, but he can't handle Spiral and all the drones so you need to run!

Longshot explains that Mojo is no mastermind, he just had control of the only channel until recently. Now Longshot can stream to anyone who tunes in. You duck into the studios, but are followed by Spiral, and Mojo is sending in the big guns.

Deadpool shoots Spiral, but don't worry, it's just a tranquiliser. Mojo has sent in fighter jets with mini-nukes. As you escape, Wolvering begins to turn back into an adult...at least partially. Deadpool scoops him up so you can get to the Mojotube and hopefully escape the jets.

The nukes are dropped but you're safe on the Mojotube. But there is worse to come...street performers! You need to get away before they start singing. You reach the end of the train and jump off just as the performers start singing.

Well, according to social media, you're still alive. You hear Mojo's announcement – it's Shark Week and you'll never escape the cyborg sharks he's released. Wolverine digs you a tunnel, but it's flooded quickly, sending you bursting back above ground. The sharks have come along with you...and they have legs.

The sharks have followed you and Dogpool runs off. Longshot must also leave...he's terrified of the land sharks. Deadpool gives you his small knife and you face the metallic sharks. you hear that Dogpool has entered the spin-off studios and you need to go after her so you can get out of Mojoverse.

Mojo wants to make sure the show goes out when it's a success. You help Deadpool attack him while Wolverine takes out his metallic legs. Deadpool drops a mine on Mojo and a portal appears. Surely this will end well!

You're back in your own world. Well done, you survived! Deadpool would like his knife back, but you made it back alive which is never a given. Take his card and the check is in the mail. You're done with you accidental foray into being a mercenary and you never have to...Seems Spiral is angry. Might need to run again.

You nearly have Dogpool, only for Deadpool himself to intervene by grabbing Wolverine and telling you to help him. Wolverine breaks free and advances on Dogpool...only to cut off her collar. Wolverine knows who you're dealing with! Unfortunately, he also seems to be shrinking...and turning into a child (with the same temper). The dinosaur also does not help.
